Ingredients
What you’ll really love about this little recipe is that it only takes a few minutes to make. In fact, there are only six ingredients, and of those, only three are required.
- Crispy Chicken Tenders – Use our crispy air fryer chicken strips recipe or leftovers or freezer aisle chicken tenders.
- Tortillas – The only way to go is with flour tortillas. They are so soft and delicious.
- Lettuce – We use shredded iceberg lettuce for our air fryer chicken wraps. There’s something about shredded iceberg lettuce that reminds us of the restaurant-style version.
- Tomato – Vine ripe tomatoes are our favorite, but use whatever variety you like or what’s available to you, or none at all.
- Sauce – You’ve just got to have a sauce! From mayo, or chipotle mayo, ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce, there are too many sauce options to list here.
- Cheese – We went with American cheese, but you can make it using shredded cheddar, Colby Jack, or whatever you like.

FAQ
The best way to add a kick of spice to your air fryer chicken wrap is with the sauce. Buy a spicy sauce or make something like chipotle mayo, which you can make by adding canned chipotle peppers to the mayo until it reaches your desired spiciness.
You shouldn’t warm the vegetables in the air fryer. You can however add the chicken covered with cheese to the air fryer and the tortilla if it is cold and unpliable.
First, do not overstuff the tortilla. Also, wrap a piece paper towel, parchment paper, or aluminum foil around the chicken wrap.
For this recipe we used flour tortillas as they are pliable, won’t break like corn tortillas, and honestly taste better. Also, we used 10 inch tortillas to fit all of the filling.
