Why You’ll Love This Recipe…
- One of the reasons I really love this dip is because it tastes like a caramel apple minus the big mess. Also, caramel apples are good, but sometimes you don’t want a whole apple.
- Put this caramel dip out with sliced apples, pretzels, cookies, or graham crackers and watch it disappear faster than anything else. I swear, you’re going to see people keep revisiting this dish over and over.
Ingredients

- Cream Cheese – This is the base of the dip, bring it to room temperature.
- Light Brown Sugar – Adds sweetness plus a deep caramel flavor.
- Caramel Sauce – We like salted caramel sauce. And for this recipe, we like store-bought because it keeps everything easy.
- Heath Bars – Adds a fun crunchy topping.
- Apples – You can use red or green apples.

How to Make Cheesecake Caramel Apple Dip
Add the softened cream cheese and brown sugar to a medium bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat until smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish or small plate.

Pour half of the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer.
Sprinkle half of the Heath bar pieces over the caramel.

Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top, then sprinkle with the remaining Heath bar pieces.
Serve immediately with sliced apples, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Top Tip
Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature before making the dip. If it’s not fully softened, the dip can end up lumpy instead of creamy and smooth.
Also, wait to add the chopped Heath bar topping until you’re ready to serve. This will keep the topping crunchy.
Storage
For best results, store leftover caramel apple dip in a proper food storage container for up to 4 days.

FAQ
Certainly. You can make it a few days in advance. Personally, I don’t like making dips like this more than 1 day in advance. And always wait to add the crunchy topping until serving time so they stay crunchy.
We like sweet red apples like Honeycrisp, but Granny Smith apples are excellent for this dip because they’re tart and balance the sweetness of the dip.
Nope. This is your dip, have it your way. It you don’t want anything crunchy on top, simply omit the topping. If you want a different topping, chopped Snickers, Twix, Pecans, or Butterfinger are great too.
