Ingredients

  • Mini pretzels – specifically, square pretzel snaps are the way to go for this recipe.
  • Rolo candies – it’s the perfect combination of chocolate and caramel.
  • Pecans – to press on top and give the candies that nutty turtle crunch.

How to Make Super Easy Pretzel Turtles

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Lay pretzels in a single layer on a baking sheet, then place one unwrapped Rolo candy in the center of each pretzel.

Bake for 4 minutes or until the Rolo caramel piece begins to soften, but not melt.

Remove from the oven, then press 1 pecan into each Rolo candy. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for 1 hour, or you can refrigerate it for 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Storage

Stored in an airtight container, these pretzel turtle clusters will lasts one week at room temperature, two weeks in the fridge, and up to two months in the freezer.

Top tips

To keep cleanup to a minimum and prevent the candies from sticking to the surface, make these pretzel turtle clusters on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
