FAQ

Can I make Christmas Tree Treats ahead of time?

Yes. You can make them, decorate them, and store them in an airtight container for a few days. Or make the treat base in advance, then decorate later.

What can I use for the tree trunk?

For this recipe, we used simple mini pretzel sticks, but you can use popsicle sticks, candy sticks, or small pretzel rods dipped in chocolate. I think a cool idea would be to dip them in chocolate, then use a fork to create grooves and texture like an actual tree trunk.

Should I use homemade or store-bought frosting?

We prefer homemade frosting because it tastes so much better than store-bought. By the way, I really don’t like store-bought frosting.
