Why You’ll Love This Frozen Lemonade Recipe
- It’s simple and refreshing and the perfect way to harken back to the good ole days. I’m telling ya, it’s so satisfying you’re gonna say “ahhh” after the very first sip of this quencher.
- You won’t believe it’s only 5 ingredients and that’s including the ice and water. We kept it K.I.S.S. easy. So you don’t have to worry about making a complicated syrup. Just blend and pour.
- There’s a real “pop” of lemon flavor. I can’t stand lemonade that doesn’t taste lemony. This one is zingy, zippy, and bright, but balanced so it’s perfectly sweet without being too sugary.
- You can randomly make this on a Wednesday because it’s an easy everyday sipper. But when you serve it to guests, they’re going to light up. They’ll remember you for it. So don’t be surprised if they ask for the recipe. ๐

How to make Frozen Lemonade
Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, sugar, and water to a blender. Blend for about 15-20 seconds to help dissolve the sugar.
Add the ice and blend on high until thick and slushy.

Check the consistency, add a splash of water if itโs too thick or a handful of ice if you want it thicker.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Top Tips
If the mixture seems too thin and soupy, simply add more ice and blend again until smooth.
Storage
Since frozen lemonade is best served immediately, you don’t want to store it.

Oh, that’s easy. Just add more ice and blend until smooth.
I never miss an opportunity to recommend Vitamix (Blendtec is a close second). But you should be fine with any blender that can handle ice.
