Red Layer (Grenadine)

How to Make Frozen Patriotic 4th of July Margaritas
Start with the blue layer. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Divide between 2 14 oz. glasses.
Place the glasses in the freezer while you make the white layer.
Rinse the blender, then add the ingredients for the white layer. Blend until smooth and slushy. Slowly spoon over the blue layer.

Lastly, make the red layer. Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until thick and smooth. Then slowly spoon over the white layer.
Serve immediately.
Top Tip
Place the glasses in the freezer 10 to 20 minutes before serving. This will help keep the layers separated.

Yes. I haven’t tested it yet myself, but you can swap the alcohol with lemon-lime soda. Although you may need to play around with it to get the flavor just right.
Yes. You could blend each layer separately, then freeze. When ready to serve, allow them to come to room temperature and re-blend.
Chill the glasses in the freezer and keep everything cold for as long as possible. Spoon the layers into the glass slowly. But eventually the layers will mix as the drink melts.
