Ingredients

Below, we show you all of the ingredients you’ll need to make this fried rice. There are just 9 ingredients including the sausage and day old rice.

Ten ingredients for kielbasa fried rice.
  • Rice – it wouldn’t be fried rice without day old rice. You want to use day old rice because it’s firmer and drier than freshly cooked rice.
  • Kielbasa – We recommend using a high quality kielbasa sausage. Better yet, use your favorite.
  • Peas and carrots – We used a bag of mixed frozen peas and carrots.
  • Onion – Diced yellow or white onion.
  • Eggs
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Garlic – garlic cloves or paste will work here.
  • Ginger paste – I Strongly recommend ginger paste over fresh ginger for this recipe as it’s super easy and the flavor is just as good.
