Why You’ll Love Pretzel Witch Brooms

  • They couldn’t be easier to make! You don’t have to worry about cooking, baking, or waiting for stuff to cool off for hours. This idea takes literally just minutes. Which is perfect if your brain ghosted you, and you forgot to make a dish for an office Halloween potluck or PTA meeting.
  • They’re instantly recognizable. Even the youngest children will know what they are.
  • Everyone will love the salty-sweet combo of the pretzel sticks and that chocolatey, peanut buttery goodness that is Reese’s cups.
  • You’ll have a ball making them yourself or call in you’re “little ghouls” to give you some assistance. They’ll love to help!

Ingredients

  • Miniature Reese’s Cups
  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Chocolate Chips

See the recipe card for quantities.

How to Make Pretzel Witch Brooms

Place the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and melt according to the package instructions.

Unwrap each Reese’s cup and place it upside down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chocolate peanut butter cups with pretzel sticks and candy, styled as mini witch broom treats on a plate.

Dip each pretzel into the melted candy so it coats about ¼ of the pretzel.

Gently press the candy-coated end into each peanut butter cup until it stands straight. Place them in the fridge for 5 minutes to allow the melted candy to set. Serve and enjoy!

Top Tip

Before serving, let them sit for a while or refrigerate them for a few minutes to allow the pretzels and Reese’s cups to stick together.

Storage

They can sit at room temperature in a food storage container for 3 or 4 days.

FAQs

Can I make them ahead of time?

Absolutely! You can make them 1 or 2 days in advance. Just make sure you store them in an airtight container to keep the pretzels crunchy.

Can I use candy other than Reese’s?

Yep! Rolos work perfectly if you prefer that flavor. And I’m fairly certain you could get Hershey’s Kisses to work, too.
