How to Make Christmas Pretzels
Prepare two large baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl on High for 45 seconds. Stir, and if needed, microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring just until chips are melted.
Pour the chocolate into a tall glass. Dip the pretzels in the melted chocolate.
Lay the dipped pretzels on the baking sheet with parchment. While the chocolate is warm, add the sprinkles.
Allow the chocolate to set up before eating or removing it from the parchment. If left at room temperature, it could take up to 1 hour to set. To speed this up, you can put them in the fridge for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
Top Tip
After dipping, hold the pretzel rod upside down, allowing the excess chocolate to run off. This will help you keep a nice uniform appearance.
Storage
Chocolate-covered pretzels keep for up to 2 to 3 weeks. Just store them in an airtight container at room temperature.
FAQ
Keep them at room temperature in an airtight container, and they’ll last for up to three weeks. This means you can start making them well before you give them away.
Unless your kitchen is too warm, you can keep them at room temperature. No need to refrigerate.
So many ways! You can add red and green sprinkles. But if you think that’s boring, here are some other ideas: crushed candy canes, white chocolate drizzle on dark chocolate, blue and silver, red and white or gold sprinkles, etc. Have fun!
