How to Make Reindeer Pretzels

Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe glass and microwave on 50% power for 1 minute. Continue microwaving in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted.

Reindeer pretzels with chocolate faces, candy eyes, and red noses arranged neatly on parchment paper.

Dip two pretzel sticks about ¼ of the way up, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

While the chocolate is still wet, add the candy eyes and nose. Repeat this process until all Rudolph pretzels are made.

Place the baking sheet in the fridge for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate has set. Enjoy!

Top Tip

Add the decorations quickly before the chocolate cools.

Storage

Store your reindeer pretzels at room temperature in an airtight container for up to a week.

FAQs

What kind of chocolate works best?

We’ve only made this recipe by melting chocolate chips with a bit of vegetable oil. It works perfectly. Some recommend baking chocolate which is said to melt better.

Do I have to use candy eyes?

Nope! You can make these reindeer pretzels anyway you like. Get creative and use chocolate chips or m&m’s for eyes. Or omit the eyes and simply add a candy nose.
