It’s rare when everyone in our home agrees on anything (let alone dessert), but this Caramel Apple Cobbler is different. It’s a universal household fall favorite. Each bite tastes like a cozy fall night.

How does warm cinnamon-y, sweet, tender apples, covered in a golden, buttery topping, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream sound? Like heaven, right?

This simple dessert is so good, you won’t want to wait until September to start making it. It’s a must-have for fall, but it’s also perfect for winter or summer gatherings. And I LOVE to serve it warm with a scoop of ice cream after Sunday dinner. Mmmm!

But you before you jump into this gooey deliciousness, allow me to introduce you some of my other apple dessert favorites like mini apple pie, apple pie filling, and the fantastic apple crumble.

Why You NEED Caramel Apple Cobbler This Fall

  • This recipe is basically fall in dessert form. You have sweet, tender apples, a mouthwatering golden brown topping that’s crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. And if that’s not enough, you have an irresistible caramel sauce. Serve it with ice cream and it becomes pure magic!
  • OMG, it’s sooo easy (especially if you already have a batch of our best apple pie filling ready). It isn’t fussy. If you can peel and slice apples, you can make it.
  • It’s a total crowd pleaser! You won’t find many folks that don’t love the combination of caramel and apples. Plus, you can easily double the recipe to make enough for pot lucks and large crowds.
  • You can dress it up in many ways, like pecans, whipped cream, sea salt, or even a splash of bourbon in the caramel sauce.
