Ingredients

  • 16 Oz Cream Cheese Room Temperature
  • ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 25 Chocolate Sandwich Cookies Divided
  • 48 Pretzel Sticks
  • 3 Tbsp Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Place 10 cookies in a zip-lock bag and crush them into small pieces with a rolling pin. Set them aside.
  • Add the remaining cookies to a food processor and blend into fine crumbs. Transfer them to a medium bowl and set it aside.
  • In another medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and well combined.
  • Stir the crushed cookies into the cream cheese mixture, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Once chilled, scoop out about three tablespoons of the mixture and roll it in the cookie crumbs to form a ball. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Break a pretzel stick in half and stick it into the ball to create the spider legs. Repeat this process with three additional pretzels to make a total of eight legs.
  • Melt the chocolate and transfer it to a sandwich bag. Snip off one corner, then use a tiny amount of chocolate to attach the candy eyes to each spider. Repeat until all the cheeseballs are decorated. Time to enjoy!

Notes

  • Store the cheeseballs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, but wait to add the eyes and legs until ready to serve.
