Brazilian Lemonade Recipe

I get it, Brazilian Lemonade is one of the most confusingly named drinks ever. Why? Because it's actually made with limes. No kidding! So I don't know who's in charge of naming drinks over there, but after one sip, none of that stuff matters. You'll be hooked.

Ingredients

  • ¾ Cup Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice About 6 Limes
  • 2 Tsp Lime Zest
  • 3 Cups Cold Water
  • Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  • In a pitcher, whisk together the condensed milk, lime zest, and salt. Let it sit for 3–5 minutes to release the lime oils.
  • Stir in the fresh lime juice until smooth.
  • Add the cold water and whisk until fully combined and lightly frothy.
  • Serve immediately over ice.

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • The ingredients may separate while sitting in the fridge, so be sure to stir before serving.
  • Taste and adjust as needed. Add more water if it’s too tart, or more sweetened condensed milk for extra sweetness.
