Air Fryer Toasted Panko Recipe

Learn how to make toasted panko breadcrumbs in the air fryer. It's the key to making golden brown crispy chicken, pork chops, and more. There are only two ingredients, and it takes just minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Panko
  • 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter Melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Add the panko and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until panko is coated in butter.
  • Add a small pan to the air fryer. Pour the panko into it. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Stir and cook for an additional 2 minutes in 30-second increments. Make sure to stir after every 30 seconds. Panko will be a golden brown color.
  • Pour panko into an airtight container and use it with your favorite recipe. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can easily double this batch. 
  • After 1 minute of cooking, you want to watch since the panko will go from golden brown to burnt. 
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for 1 month.
