Make Dish Washing Easier with Scotch-Brite Dishwand

Washing dishes certainly isn’t my favorite pass-time. Nonetheless it needs to be done. We bought the Dishwand by Scotch-Brite years ago because we were tired of dealing with dish rags and we wanted to make dish washing easier. Dish rags get smelly, and need to be washed often.
We have nothing but good things to say about the Dishwand. It saves water, it saves dish detergent, and the Scotch-brite pad makes scrubbing easy.
We use the Scotch-brite non scratch pads on our delicate dishware like our non-stick pans and dinnerware (although we may start using the Scrub Daddy more). It can handle most jobs, but for tougher jobs like oven pans we use the heavy duty pad. We just swap the heads. We never have to make scorching hot dish water, and end up with prune hands. It’s comfortable and easy to use. You never have to get your hands dirty.
We got it about 6 years ago, and the refills last 3-4 weeks before we throw them out. It’s one of the best purchases we’ve made for our kitchen. We’ve read some reviews that say it leaks, but I haven’t experienced that after years of use. If you do decide to use the Dishwand, one piece advice, always test on a small area of your dish to make sure that it doesn’t leave scratches on your dish. You should do this with any scrubber you use.
