The Oster FPSTJE9020-000 JusSimple is a centrifugal juicer. Centrifugal juicers work by shredding the fruit and vegetables into a pulp, while the centrifugal motion pulls the liquid out of it. It has a 1000-watt motor giving it the power to churn through whatever you throw at it. Certainly, it can handle your juicing needs. This much is confirmed by customers.
Juicers with “extra-wide” chutes are getting popular. In fact, I’ve recently taken a look at another juicer that touted an extra-wide chute. It’s for good reason too, juicer owners want a juicer that requires less prep work and time to make their juices. The chute on the Oster FPSTJE9020-000 JusSimple juicer is large enough to fit an entire whole apple. This is a feature of convenience.

Although, you must consider, centrifugal juicers grind up everything and release the juice. If you put in an entire orange, including the skin, your juice will taste bitter. Seeds and skins of certain fruits may make your juice taste a little off-putting. So, you might still do some minimal prep work to remove them before juicing. Be mindful though, very small food items have been known to fly back out of the chute.
Some customers have said that this juicer isn’t very easy to use. I’ve come across words like convoluted that were used to describe this juicer. Convenient appliances get used more often than the cumbersome ones. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like this juicer is very convenient.
Like with all centrifugal juicers, the Oster FPSTJE9020-000 has many parts that will need to be rinsed off or cleaned after use. While not the hardest thing to clean, multiple customers have stated that it isn’t easy to clean either. However, the mesh filter is said to be easy to clean; just rinse.
The base is made of stainless steel. The pitcher is large with a capacity of 32 ounces. The pulp collector is large as well. It has 5 speed settings.
