Appearance & Size
You won’t be embarrassed to have either of these machines sitting on your counter. Both are good-looking machines.
Made of die-cast and stainless steel, the Cuisinart cje-1000 is an easy to use juicer with a broad design as it is a powerful machine. It measures 13.2 by 16.5 by 18.2 inches.
The Breville je98xl is made up of a heavy grade polymer (plastic) body and is taller than Cuisinart. The base is stainless steel and upper body is plastic. Both are shiny in appearance. It measures 15.3 by 11.8 by 19 inches.
Power and Performance
Both juicers in the Cuisinart cje-1000 vs Breville je98xl are centrifugal juicers. Cuisinart cje-1000 is the 1000 watt juicer with 5 speed levels up to 13,000 rpms. Breville JE98XL is about 850 Watts and has two speeds, 6,500 RPM and 12,000 RPM respectively.
The Breville je98xl is a dual speed juicer that works great on both fruits and vegetables. Even the hard ones. Unlike Omega juicers, neither of these juicers do more than juice. You won’t be able to crush beans or any other type of grinding.
Although I am a huge fan of multipurpose small appliances, sometimes it’s best to have a machine that specializes in just one or two functions.
Usability
Breville is easy to clean as it has dishwasher-friendly parts. It is easy to take apart the parts and clean them. A lot of customers said it takes just a few minutes to clean and reassemble. While it is quiet, the high speed is not entirely noise-free, but it is still lesser in comparison to other juicers. But let’s be honest, you can’t realistically expect a machine to be both powerful and silent.
Cuisinart is also easy to clean as it can easily be disassembled. It is also easy to separate the lid and the reservoir which are also dishwasher safe. It isn’t the loudest juicer out there, but you will certainly hear it during operation.
Warranty
The Breville JE98XL comes with a one year warranty and the Cuisinart has a limited three year warranty.

The Breville je98xl has a stainless steel mesh filter which is easy to clean with the special cleaning brush that is provided.
The Cuisinart cje-1000 has a filter basket to help reduce foaming formation and emerge the pulp. It is easy to clean because of the special cleaning brush that comes with the juicer.
The pulp from either of these machines will be a bit wet. The Cusinart cje-1000 has a 2 liter pulp container which means that you will be able to juice a lot before you need to empty the container.

Customer Reviews
Cuisinart CJE-1000
This Cuisinart Juicer gets points for its performance, its 5 speeds (soft fruits require lower speeds than hard ones) and even its noise level. That’s right, this machine gets a lot of praise from customers who have used this machine and say that it makes less noise than other juicers.
I’ve come across multiple customer experiences that claim that this machine leaves the pulp dry. But it is not without complaints, some users reported that this machine gets clogged. Others said that their machine completely died. Despite some complaints, I still believe that this is a quality centrifugal juicer.
Breville JE98XL
The JE98XL is reported to work very well with hard and soft fruits. It is said to be fast and efficient to some. Others are impressed that you can put so much produce in the machine at once.
But still, others report near polar opposite experiences. I’ve come across reports of this machine clogging up, others are disappointed that this juicer doesn’t work well on leafy greens. Yet and still, there are many customers that are satisfied with this machine.
Summary
When it comes to the Cuisinart cje-1000 vs Breville je98xl juicer comparison, the decision is tough. The Cuisinart juicer has more accessories, power, and a better warranty. The exterior is made out of high-quality die cast versus a high quality polymer (plastic) for the Breville.
Overall, I think that the better all round machine in this comparison is the Cuisinart – it even has the longer warranty. But, I also get the sense that the Breville is the more durable machine.
I usually go with what I think the more durable machine is, but in this case I don’t think that the difference is that great. So, with that in mind, I’d most likely go with the Cuisinart, as it is superior in almost every other way.
