POWERFUL 800-WATT MOTOR TO TACKLE TOUGH TASK

The Black & Decker FP6010 is a multi-appliance. It can perform several cutting and mixing task like dough kneading and chopping. I typically prefer products that can serve multiple purpose.

While some kitchen task require a very specific tool. Multi-purpose tools are a must if you want to save money and space. For example, our Vitamix blender is also an ice cream maker, smoothie maker, dough kneader, flour mill. We can even make hot soup with it.

A powerful motor is absolutely necessary when you’re searching for a good food processor. This Black & Decker food processor uses 800 watts of power. That’s perfect for mixing up dough. Making dough in a food processor is much easier than doing it manually.

Compared to Other Food Processors

The Black & Decker FP6010 is a powerful food processor with a modest price tag. However, you might still be inclined to check out offerings from other brands. It’s important to check out the competition before you make a decision. You never know, you might find an option that would be more beneficial for one reason or another. Take a look at an example of what the comp has to offer below.

vs Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-Cup Food Processor

The 720-watt Cuisinart DFP-14BCN is a food processor that’s been around the block a time or two. And there are many people who offer their praise for this machine. After reading up on it more, I am pretty confident that this a high-quality machine.

They are both weird looking products thous, as is the case with all of the food processors I’ve ever seen. They are about the same size, though the Cuisinart is a little smaller. The Cuisinart comes with a 14-cup bowl, bigger than 11-cup bowl for the Black & Decker. They share many of the same features, i.e. same blades, large feed tube.

There are just 2 large buttons on the Cuisinart food processor: “on” and “off/pulse”. The Black & Decker has 4, giving you more cutting/mixing options.

Overall, I trust both brands. Growing up, it was our go to brand for small appliances. My Grandma had a Black & Decker iron that lasted for decades. And Sarah’s mom had a Cuisinart food processor that lasted for decades. I think both brands offer a great value to their customers overall.

Summary

The Black & Decker FP6010 is food processor that seems to be a quality buy. It has more features than many other food processors. Its color is black and silver. If you decide to make it a part on kitchen’s starting lineup then it won’t be an eye sore. It is mid-priced small kitchen appliance. You could certainly find a less expensive food processor. But, if you should happen to choose the Black & Decker FP6010, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
